Book Blitz: Maybe Never

Publication Date: 26th May 2016
Genre(s): New Adult, Romance and Suspense

Blurb:
Will one mistake destroy her life? Will one secret? One lie?

Kinsley Felton thought she had found a solution to her problems. She thought she had convinced her family that she is strong enough to run the company, if not on her own, then with help. She thought she had won when she decided not to marry Killian and instead just date him. But everything she thought was wrong.

Killian isn't who she thought he was. Now she is sitting in a jail cell for something she didn't do because of him. But maybe she deserves to sit in jail anyway to pay for her past mistakes. All she knows is she needs to stay far away from Killian no mater how much her heart aches for him.

Will Kinsley let herself get lost in the deceit or wll she save herself and take another chance at love?

Excerpt:
Kinsley bites her lip. “I used to hate you but now I realize who I should be hating.”
I stick my hands in my pocket to keep me from doing something stupid.
 “And now?”
 “Now I sorta love you.”
I grin and do something stupid - despite trying as hard as I can to keep my hands firmly in my pockets, they fly out and grab Kinsley. One hand tangles in her newly cut hair that is still wet from being out in the rain too long. The other wraps around her waist where I can see her skin through the see-through portion of her dress in the middle, but I can’t touch her skin. And my lips touch her soft lips while my tongue tangles with hers in a desperate kiss.
A kiss that I was afraid I would never get again. I thought she would still hate me. I thought she wouldn’t believe me, but somehow she did. Now I just have to protect her from the truth I just discovered. A truth that is a million times more hideous then what either of us knew to be true.
But before I figure out how to protect her I have to have her. I can’t stand that I left her when she wasn’t safe. I can’t stand that I left her feeling like I didn’t love her. I can’t stand that I hurt her and I can’t stand that my cock isn’t already buried inside her within a minute of seeing her because I need to feel close to her. I need to forget what I just learned. I need to forget that if I choose to be with her past tonight I’m jeopardizing a career that I’ve worked my ass off for over ten years.
“Excuse me ma’am. Would you like another glass of the Bordeaux you were drinking?” the cocktail waitress asks Kinsley.
Kinsley reluctantly pulls her lips away from me. “No thanks.”
“Sir?”
I smile seeing that Kinsley ordered the first drink I ever got her.
"No. I’m good.”
Kinsley grabs her glass of wine behind her and finishes the last sip off before handing the empty glass to the waitress. “Thank you,” she says her eyes trained on my lips.
Before the waitress even leaves, her soft plump lips are on mine, torturing me, knowing that I can kiss, but I can’t get what I want right now no matter how hard I get for her. I press my cock against her stomach to show her how much I need her. Her eyes open and are filled with her own need. She needs me. Now.
I pull away so my lips are just resting on her. “Fuck, that look is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen.”
She grins. “You haven’t seen sexy yet.”

She grabs my hand and then we are walking instead of kissing. I let her lead me a few feet when I tug hard on her hand until she is spinning back toward me. I grab hold of her neck and kiss her again. She gives into the kiss as I sweep my tongue into her mouth. She moans just a little and then pushes me away laughing.
“You have to stop that if you want more than just a kiss.”
“What?” my eyes widen at her words.
She leans forward until her mouth is at my neck. “If you want to fuck me, you have to stop kissing me so I can take you somewhere that is not swarming with people.” And then she sucks my neck before pulling away. I’ve taught her well.
She grabs my hand again and then she’s leading me off the casino floor. I frown though when she doesn’t lead me to the lobby to get a room.
“Where are we going? Shouldn’t we head to the lobby to get a room?”
She bites her lip as she flashes me a wicked grin. “I can’t wait that long. Can you?” she cocks her head to the side and I realize I was wrong. This is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen.
She pulls on my hand again and we are walking faster down a long hallway and then another. I have no idea how she knows where she is going, but she does. She slows when she gets to the end of a hallway and then is pushing me into a bathroom.
I grin. “You naughty girl.”
Her tongue slips inside my mouth as her arms go around my neck hungrily. It’s the most desperate kiss I’ve ever felt from her and I match her hunger kiss for kiss.
“God, I want you.”
“Then take me.”

Publication Date: 16th May 2016
Genre(s): New Adult and Romance

Blurb:
Play with me.

They call us the Firework Girls.

I'm Ashley. My music is like a lover, surrounding me. Finding me. Transporting me with its power.

Much like he did...before he broke my heart.

Now he's back, wanting another duet. Can I play the same old song? Do I even want to?

Goodreads | Amazon

Excerpt:
It's a little like being in the Twilight zone. Erik doesn't belong her at Hartman, with my friend saying his name like it's the most normal thing in the world. Erik belongs in a grand house by the river in a whole different world.

But there he is, climbing the steps to the stage. Just like that.

My skin crawls and my heart pounds in this sickening way. I sink lower in my chair, but eyes follow his every move. He looks the same, but different. He's just as handsome as ever, maybe even more so if that's possible, but he's broader in the chest and his hair is a bit longer and he's sporting a five o'clock shadow. He's wearing black jeans and a casual button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up past his elbows.

I know those forearms and those hands. I know those long fingers. Down to the last detail, I remeber it all.

As he settles himself on the bench and lays his sheet music, I'm struck by his impossible good looks. Men this handsome aren't exactly what you'd consider typical fare anywhere, but definitely not among the world of classical pianists. He looks more like a rock star.

Maybe that's why, in the midst of the shock and pain and (yes) anger at seeing him again, my heart is still fluttering in that maddening way. Still. After all this time. After everything.

Then he begins to play.

Like the rest of him, his music is deeply familiar to me, but it too has changed. It's more mature. More controlled. In fact, it's absolutely heartbreaking. That deep, haunting quality to his music is still there, and its ability to render me helpless hasn't lessened at all.

Oh, how I remember this.

What happened all those years ago has never truly left me, but seeing hime and listening to him brings it all back with such freshness, i don't know whether to cry or laugh or rage. I'm flooded with so many memories, all wrapped in the sweet torture of his music. I'm too stunned to do more than stare. I can barely breathe.

Excerpts:
"Say it. 'Chase, you have the sexiest abs west of Texas'."
I think I've misheard him, but from the smug expression on his face I know he's serious. How can he be so totally cool when I'm squirming like a worm on a hook? His words make me flush, and dammit, he's enjoying this.
The thing is, he does have the best abs I've ever seen. Not that I go around gawking at shirtless guys at the beach. But ig the lines defining Chase's stomach, the ones leading down below the button on his jeans, are something every guys has...
Maybe I'd do it more often.
"I'm waiting."
"You'll be waiting a long time."
chase cocks his head like e's being completely reasonable and I'm the nuts one. "Come on. You sleep at my house, take over my workout, then watch me strip? You got a privileged view and I haven't heard a damn bit of feedback on it."
I glare.
He grins.

"Chase, you have the...sexiest abs west of Texas."
His expression darkens. "That one's definitely getting brought out again some cold night."

Excerpt:
Gabriel tossed back the sheets on his bed and got up. Halfway down the stairs he froze. Black ribbons of hair draped of the side of his dirty party couch. It was Caden. He walked down the rest of the stairs and into the kitchen, eyeing her. The curves of her face were soft and pleasant, or something he couldn't find a word for. He quickly turned away from her sleeping form and took out the coffee maker.
It was nearly two in the afternoon.
She hadn't left.
Gabriel's chest tightened at the thought of her staying, at the thought of wanting company.
He despised the feeling. Nothing good had ever come from other people. She would use him. She already was by overstaying her welcome.
Dark liquid streamed into the glass coffee pot. The smell drifted through the air with the warmth that normally accompanied a home. A home he'd never had and didn't want.
He took down a mug, unintentionally gripping it tightly. His hand was shaking. He needed her gone. The last person he'd let into his life had made everything worse with her lies; he couldn't handle that again.
He poured himself a cup, and with a swift movement he brought the steaming mug to his lips and took a gulp of bitter liquid. The heat surprised him, and he pulled back from it as if it had bitten him. Caden wasn't even awake yet, and just being near her made him feel crazy, restless.
"I thought I told you to be gone in the morning. It's nearly two in the afternoon." He spoke loudly, not quite facing her.
Caden rotated slightly on the couch, her opening only part of the way. She look as tired as he felt.
"What?" she croaked.
"You heard me," he snarled through clenched teeth, leaning over her body. "Why are you still her?" As he'd grown up, his parents had given free rent in one of their condos to anyone who would provide childcare for him, He supposed he'd always supplied a roof to strangers in one way or another.
"You asked me to stay." Her voice echoed her helplessness and uncertainty.
"When?"
"Last night," Caden said, rubbing her eyes.
Heat was rising in Gabriel. Pain and disappointment overwhelmed his senses. She was lying. Just like everyone he'd ever know. The force of his anger was like a wrecking ball in full swing.
Ceramic exploded against the wall, fragments flying across the room. He'd done that. The brown drips of coffee streaked down the white wall by the door. Gabriel looked at his empty shaking hand and clenched his fist tightly together.
"You're lying," he said as he looked down at her. this was her fault; if only she had just left like he told her to. But he didn't want her to leave; that was the worst part. The tension came back, the numbness creeping in and propelling him forward. He couldn't be near her, not now. The only thing he could do was leave. He walked briskly to the door before he changed his mind.

***
Caden watched the door tremble as it was slammed closed. Gabriel was gone. "You asked me to stay," she stammered the whisper, her heart pounding in her ears, but no one was there to hear it.

Blurb:
The undead can really screw up your senior year...

But then a bizarre (and incredibly hot) new exchange student named Lucius Vladescu shows up, claiming that Jessica is a Romanian Vampire princess by birth -- and he's er long lost fiance. Armed with newfound confidence and a copy of Growing Up Undead: A Teen Vampire's Guide to Dating, Health, and Emotions, Jessica makes a dramatic transition from average American teenager to glam European vampire princess.
But when a devious cheerleader sets her sights on Lucius, Jess finds herself fighting to win back her wayward prince, stop a global vampire war -- and save Lucius's soul from eternal destruction.

Review:
First time she saw him fog clung to the cornfields, tails of mist slithering between the dying stalk it was morning right after labor day waiting for the school bus minding her own business. He notices that she spotted him when the bus pulled up and safely stepped on that he watched the bus drive away "Anatanasia" she heard him call her by her long forgotten birth name.

Anatanasia (or Jessica) finds out at dinner that she is a vampire and that she is to be married at 18 years old to the stranger from the school bus stop. Her parents have invited him to stay to get to know his future bride and things didn't go over to well when he told Jessica that she was Vampire, princess and his soon to be wife, she stabbed his foot with a pitch fork.

Lucius is the strangers name and he thinks that Jessica is rude, uncooperative and lacks any appreciation of her culture and certainly her duty and destiny but given time they will warm to each other and become well antiquated with one another, you can't just assume the other person wants you right there and then. Slowly Jessica learns the history of her birth parents and who she is and where she really comes from, and it is then that she realizes that she has feelings for Lucius.
